  • Contact and inquiry forms: name, email, phone, and any message or details you submit.
  • Booking / calendar: name, email, and phone to schedule consultations or appointments.
  • Store checkout: name, shipping/billing address, email, phone, and order details. Payment is processed by Stripe. EcoTrybe does not store full payment card numbers. Sales tax may be calculated using Stripe Tax where enabled.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our sites, we and our service providers may collect technical and usage data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and similar analytics. This often involves cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising).

Information from partners and referrals

If you arrive through a partner or referral link that includes a ?dealer= (or similar) parameter, we may attribute your visit or purchase to that referral partner for commission or program tracking. Partners may receive information related to attribution of referred sales or commissions. We do not describe partners as receiving your full customer profile beyond what is needed for referral attribution.

Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13 (see Children’s Privacy).

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Schedule and manage bookings
  • Process and fulfill orders, shipping, returns, and tax calculations
  • Send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, service notices)
  • Send marketing emails and SMS where you have consented or as otherwise permitted by law
  • Operate, secure, and improve our websites and CRM
  • Measure advertising and website performance (including Meta and similar tools)
  • Attribute sales under our partner/referral program
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms

4. How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers / processors who help us run our business (for example, GoHighLevel for website/CRM; Stripe for payments and tax; email/SMS delivery tools; hosting and analytics providers; and E-Home Solutions LLC for marketing/CRM services). These parties are expected to use personal information for the services they provide to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and, where used, Google Analytics or Google ads tags. These tools may collect or receive identifiers and online activity so we can measure campaigns and show relevant ads. Under California law, this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Referral / dealer partners for attribution of referred orders and related commission tracking, limited to what is needed for that program.
  • Professional advisors and legal authorities when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, disputes, or safety.
  • Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information for money in the traditional sense of selling a customer list. However, sharing data with advertising platforms via pixels and similar tools may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under California and similar state laws. You may opt out as described below.

5. Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising

Our sites use cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Essential cookies needed for the site and checkout to work
  • GoHighLevel analytics/cookies related to site and CRM functionality
  • Meta Pixel for ads measurement, remarketing, and conversion tracking
  • Google Analytics and/or Google ads tags (where implemented) for traffic analytics and advertising measurement

These tools may set cookies, read device identifiers, and collect information about how you use our sites. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, industry opt-out tools. Blocking some cookies may affect site features.

Do Not Sell or Share / targeted advertising: To opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising related to our use of advertising cookies and pixels, contact us at [email protected] or (801) 953-6590, and use any on-site “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or cookie preference control we make available. You may also adjust ad settings in your Meta and Google accounts and use browser controls.

6. SMS, Email, and Marketing Communications

SMS / text messages

If you provide a phone number on a lead form, booking form, checkout, or similar, and consent to receive texts, you agree that EcoTrybe (and our service providers acting on our behalf) may send you SMS/text messages at that number, which may include marketing, promotional, and follow-up messages about our products and services.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of SMS. Reply HELP for help.
  • Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.

You may also contact us at [email protected] or (801) 953-6590 to request that we stop marketing texts.

Email

We may send transactional emails related to your orders or requests. Where permitted, we may also send marketing emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or by contacting us.

7. Your Privacy Rights (including California CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA that include, subject to exceptions:

  • Opt out of sale or sharing: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information: Where applicable, request that we limit use of sensitive personal information to purposes permitted by law.
  • Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights (for example, by denying goods or services or charging different prices solely for exercising a right).

How to submit a request: Email [email protected] or call (801) 953-6590. Please describe your request clearly. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming information we already have) before fulfilling certain requests.

Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and may still need to verify your identity directly.

Appeals: If we deny your request and your state requires an appeal process, reply to our decision email and ask for an appeal.

Other U.S. states may provide similar rights (access, deletion, correction, opt-out of targeted advertising or certain sales). We will honor applicable state law when you contact us.

8. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy—such as fulfilling orders, providing customer service, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal, tax, and accounting requirements—unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Security
